Who is Sergio Gutierrez
Designer Sergio Gutierrez was born in Medellin, Colombia where he continued his education and attended school for electrical engineering.
Some years later, Sergio moved to San Francisco where his mission was to research ways of creating a fabric like no other, one that was mesh-like using a ball chain method.
Sergio first brought this idea to life in 1991
Finally, in 1991 is when Sergio took this brilliant and amazing idea and transformed it into his unique personalized creation, an industrial ball chain that he welded together and allowed for the liquid move within the metal mesh bracelet to create the ingenious and unique design of the Liquid Metal Creations.
His beautiful jewelry makes a bold statement with it’s contemporary look and style that is woven together.

While Sergio Gutierrez was living in San Francisco mastering his creation with Liquid Metal, it wasn’t until in 1994 that he was approached by a well-known designer named Betsy Johnson.
Betsey Johnson was the first person to reach out to Sergio about his one of a kind jewelry creations.
She was so impressed by his incredible jewelry designs that she carried his line of gorgeous intricately designed Liquid Metal Bracelets for the next two years.
But it was in 1996 that jewelry designer Sergio Gutierrez was able to expand his brand of show-stopping Liquid Metal bracelets and relocate to Miami, Fl where his client list grew astronomically in a short amount of time causing his ventures to sore with a whole new list of world-renowned clients like Cache, Nordstrom, and Bebe.
By this time his jewelry business was soaring through the roof.
Sergio decided to take the metal bracelet creations and integrate them into the making of his own brand.
